It expects to develop a few new and high-performance aluminium alloys through interdisciplinary research and to generate new knowledge in the area of materials science from investigation of the strengthening and toughening mechanisms. The intended outcomes also include a validated a big data analytic model for new alloy development, which further enhances the interdisciplinary collaboration.

Click here for Order Form Air entrainment at plunging breakers and its effect on the shoreline Student: The project aims to improve our basic understanding of turbulent mixing and dispersion processes in subtropical estuaries.
This will be achieved through a Ph. Publications derived from the project: Field Experience and Signal Post-Processing. Field Experience and "Despiking". Download PDF file Student: It forms during the spring tide conditions when the tidal range exceeds 4 to 6 m and the flood tide is confined to a narrow funnelled estuary with low freshwater levels.
Tidal bores are locally called mascaret, pororoca, burro, bono, benak and aegir. A tidal bore is associated with a massive mixing ofthe estuarine waters that stirs the organic matter and creates some rich fishing grounds.
Its occurrence is essential to many ecological processes and the survival of unique eco-systems. The tidal bores are also part of the cultural heritage in many regions: In this project, the environmental and ecological impacts of tidal bores are studied with a focus on fish egg dispersion.
Application to Sediments and Fish Eggs. This study presents a detailed investigation of both the macro and micro-scale flow properties on a low-gradient cascade 3. Research is conducted on two large-size physical models: The large size of the model allows near full-scale data acquisition under controlled flow conditions, minimising potential scale effects.

A thesis or dissertation is a document submitted in support of candidature for an academic degree or professional qualification presenting the author's research and findings.
In some contexts, the word "thesis" or a cognate is used for part of a bachelor's or master's course, while "dissertation" is normally applied to a doctorate, while in other contexts, the reverse is true.
Projects on display will represent capstone projects in the School's key disciplines of electrical engineering, information technology and multimedia design, with some premier examples of work from our studio and project-based courses.
